Founders League Channel

Founders League announces the launch

of its initial strategy....

 Founders League Channel

       - TV the Founders would watch -

What is Founders League Channel?

Founders League Channel (FLC) utilizes IPTV* technology to present video and audio content to TV viewing audiences across the United States. (*Internet Protocol Television)

FLC serves as a consolidator - a one-stop-shopping-place - a shopping mall of video & audio - for TV Viewers to find and play Founding Principled Content; Christian Principled Content; Christian Worldview Content from organizations who produce such audio and video content.

We are currently seeking to partner with these organizations to extend the reach of their video/audio content beyond the home and office PCs and into living rooms across America (and nearly anywhere else you might watch TV).

The cost to produce and then distribute TV content using conventional means is almost always prohibitively expensive for these organizations. Though many do manage to get some valuable TV exposure on well known and popular TV channels by way of interviews, panels and other reference spots, such exposure is quite limited because it is scheduled, time-slotted, time-constrained, "Be there or Miss It" content that is only a segment of another program.

Unlike this limited TV exposure that these organizations currently may receive, FLC will provide such organizations the opportunity to deliver their own branded presentations, short clips or program length, in a Video-On-Demand (VOD) format. So not only will this provide a vehicle for presenting branded content directly to TV viewers, this content will be available 24/7 and can be viewed anytime it is convenient for the viewer.

(Live Streaming is under development for the future.)

How does Founders League Channel do this?

FLC utilizes low cost IPTV to deliver video and/or audio content to this new “TV Audience”.

This technology utilizes the same digital highway as Digital TV, Digital Telephone, and the Internet,

but is coded and decoded differently and connects inexpensively to any TV.

(In fact, some of the newer TVs are already IPTV capable.)

And this is all accomplished at costs which are a small fraction of those for

broadcasting via cable or over-the-air networks.

What Types of Video Content Will Be Available for Viewing?

Area 1: Usually having a shorter ‘shelf-life’, this content will be primarily news or feature articles designed to inform about events and their implications. And while Founders League is looking to distribute Christian Principled Content consistent with its Mission Statement, content providers need not be Christian organizations Per Se. After all, you do not have to be a Christian organization or a Christian personally, in order to appreciate Christian Principles and Values. For example, one of those principles is truth. And Founders League holds that presenting the truth and the fuller picture is critically important to informative journalism for all Americans, Christian or not. [There are many content providers that are not founded as Christian organizations who subscribe to these same ideals, although they may not choose to word it quite this way.] This, in itself, represents Christian Principles in action and at work. So in short, you can expect to see news and feature article content that is consistent with Christian Principles, Christian Values and the Christian Worldview. This area will be free to the viewer.

Area 2: More along the lines of a DVD, this content will likely have a longer ‘shelf-life’. It will include feature content going into more depth about various topics that are important in developing and nourishing a Christian Worldview. The viewer will be charged a modest fee for this content.

What Can the Viewer Expect?

To view video content that is dedicated to truth and the fuller picture, and
consistent with Christian Principles, Christian Values and the Christian Worldview.

What Can the Content Providers Expect?

Even though FLC is a consolidator, each Area 1 content provider will have their own sub-channel; their own branded space, to present their own content. Area 2 providers’ content will be organized by subject.

Overall:

The Founders League Channel Strategy provides a new choice; a new choice for content providers and TV viewers alike. By helping organizations with Christian Principle Content by-pass the conventional media streams, FLC will provide content providers with an inexpensive way to reach the TV audience directly, while TV viewers will be able to view Christian Principled Content largely unavailable from the  conventional TV experience today.
